Atomic Droplet is a software design and consultancy company based in Breaker Bay, New Zealand.
David Preece is the principal, CTO and pretty much everything else. He holds a degree in Naval Architecture from Newcastle University and came to software through a stint researching fluid dynamics.
Recent work, aside from MixTape, has included: The capture pipeline for iShowU HD; Much of the work for the VoiceQ media production tool; An awful lot for Virtual Katy; and an implementation of h.264.
He maintains a personal blog and can also be found on LinkedIn.
